Itinerary

Morning:

  • Depart Melbourne for Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park.
  • Enjoy a guided tour, seeing kangaroos, wombats, Tasmanian devils, and more.
  • Attend a koala ranger talk and have the opportunity to hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies.

Afternoon:

  • Journey to Phillip Island, stopping at Cape Woolamai Beach (time permitting) to watch surfers and stroll the beach.
  • Explore The Nobbies, walking coastal boardwalks and looking for fur seals at Seal Rocks. Keep an eye out for whales in winter, and penguin chicks in burrows during summer.

Evening:

  • Head to Summerland Beach for the Penguin Parade.
  • Watch as little penguins emerge from the ocean and waddle across the beach to their burrows at sunset.
  • Return to Melbourne.
