Yes, space on “Gus the Bus” is tight! Please pack a small overnight backpack or duffel bag with your essentials for the 2 days. You can safely leave your large main backpacks or suitcases in the free luggage storage room at your Cairns hostel.
Not at all. Day 1 is spent in high-altitude volcanic crater lakes and mountain waterfalls where saltwater crocs cannot survive. On Day 2, we safely view wild crocs from a secure cruise boat on the Daintree River before swimming in an elevated, croc-free freshwater stream.
