Itinerary
Get ready for an adventure! 🎒 Your K’gari (Fraser Island) tour kicks off with a compulsory briefing at Nomads Noosa at 6:30 PM the night before departure, unless you’re starting from Rainbow Beach. Bright and early at 6:30 AM on departure day, you’ll head from Nomads Noosa to Rainbow Beach (transfers included) to pick up your 4WD vehicles 🚙. After a quick lesson, you’ll drive to the ferry at Inskip Point and cruise over to K’gari. Once on the island, you’ll hit the famous 75 Mile Beach! Your itinerary will be flexible, adapting to weather and tide conditions to ensure you see the best of K’gari. Day one might take you to the stunning Lake Wabby 💚, followed by an exploration of the rainforest at Wanggoolba Creek or Central Station. After an exciting drive through the forest to camp, you’ll settle into your very own swag under the stars ✨, enjoy dinner and drinks with new friends, and get a great night’s rest before more island exploration! 🏕️🥂
A nice early rise with a continental breakfast 🥐 to fuel up for a fantastic day! Today’s adventures include relaxing time at the beautiful Eli Creek 💧 and a fascinating stop at the iconic SS Maheno Shipwreck ⚓. After a satisfying lunch, you’ll drive to the stunning Indian Head lookout for panoramic views 🔭 and then cool off in the unique Champagne Pools 🫧. Finally, you’ll cruise back along 75 Mile Beach for your last memorable night at camp! 🌟
Have your breakfast and then we are packing up camp 🏕️, get ready to soak in every last moment exploring K’gari! Your grand finale includes a visit to the absolutely stunning Lake McKenzie 💧, where you can take a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters and lounge on the dazzling white silica sand. Following another delicious lunch, it’s time to make your way back to the ferry, crossing over to Rainbow Beach. Then, it’s a transfer back to Noosa for a celebratory night out at KB’s Bar with all your fantastic new friends! 🎉👯

Whether leaving from Noosa or Rainbow Beach, we’ve got that one covered for you. Simply leave your backpack or suitcase in our luggage storage whilst you go on the tour – No dramas! (We do not take responsibility or compensate for any loss or damage of your personal property whilst in storage or when on tour).
Absolutely you can still do the tour! There is always room for a navigator, a comedian, a DJ and a photographer. If you don’t wanna take on these responsibilities – That’s cool too, just sit back and enjoy the ride.
