It’s an action-packed 60 minutes in the air! You’ll soar over many of the 74 Whitsunday Islands, get an eagle-eyed look at the shifting white sands of Whitehaven Beach, and see the stunning turquoise swirls of Hill Inlet. Then, the pilot will navigate out to the outer Great Barrier Reef so you can spot and photograph the world-famous, postcard-perfect Heart Reef!

Yes, door-to-door transit is fully sorted! The tour includes complimentary courtesy bus transfers. The Ocean Rafting shuttle will collect you directly from your hostel or accommodation around Airlie Beach and drive you to the Whitsunday Airport (located just 8 minutes from the main street). Once the flight lands, the shuttle will drop you straight back to your door.

We run daily flights at 7:00 AM, 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM, and 2:30 PM. If you want to do the ultimate combo, you can book an early morning flight (7:00 AM or 8:30 AM) and seamlessly jump straight onto an Ocean Rafting speed-boating rafting tour right afterward on the very same day!

For legal aviation safety guidelines and aircraft weight distribution, all passengers must be weighed at check-in. The standard maximum weight limit per individual seat is 125kg. If you or anyone in your group is close to or over this threshold, please let us know during booking so our reservations team can coordinate with the pilots.

Because you stay inside the air-conditioned aircraft cabin the entire time, you don’t need much! Just bring your camera or smartphone (fully charged!) for videos, sunglasses to block the brilliant reef glare through the glass, and a refillable water bottle. Leave your big backpacks at your hostel, as storage space on the small aircraft is limited.
