It’s a massive, action-packed 12-hour day trip. The bus departs central Melbourne locations between 7:15 AM and 8:00 AM, and you will return to the city in the evening between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM.
We take you to Kennett River, which is famous for having one of the highest concentrations of wild koalas in Victoria. Because they live entirely in their natural habitat, sightings aren’t 100% guaranteed, but our guides are experts at spotting them sleeping in the trees!
The tour operates rain or shine! The weather on the Victorian coast can shift fast, and the 12 Apostles actually look incredibly dramatic under stormy clouds. Just bring a rain jacket and some warm layers for the coastal wind.
Backpackers staying down in St Kilda, Take the Tram (Route 16 or 96) straight up into the city center.
When checking them out on your system, the most popular and easiest central default pickup locations to select for them are:
Rendezvous Hotel (328 Flinders Street) – This is right near Flinders Street Station, making it the most seamless spot for a backpacker coming off a St Kilda tram.
