Make your own way to Meeting Point C at Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach, for an approximate 11:30 AM departure (tide and weather permitting).  Once aboard, you’ll have an orientation briefing to meet your friendly crew and fellow adventurers. Then, it’s out of the harbor and into the stunning Whitsunday Islands! Your vessel will anchor in a beautiful, protected cove, offering time for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing before enjoying a picturesque sunset. Cap off the day with a delicious dinner prepared by your crew and enjoy a few drinks with your new travel companions.

Start with an early dip and snorkel in crystal waters, followed by breakfast. Sail to Tongue Bay for Whitehaven Beach access. Hike to Hill Inlet Lookout for stunning views, then relax, play, and sunbathe on the beach – camera ready! Return for a buffet lunch, then sail to a fantastic snorkel spot on the fringing reefs, looking for tropical fish and turtles. Prefer to relax? Sunbathe on the boat’s nets. Enjoy another great dinner before your final night onboard.

Wake up early for breakfast, then sail to your final reef location for a quick swim or snorkel. Afterwards, set sail back to Airlie Beach, arriving around 9:45 AM. That night, enjoy an exclusive VIP afterparty with your group, featuring discounted food and drinks!

• OzSail is not responsible for any property you take on board the vessel. In particular, we strongly encourage you to take waterproof cameras rather than expensive digital cameras. Your electrical equipment will be ruined if it comes in contact with saltwater.

• No large backpacks or suitcases are allowed on-board our vessels. Please only bring bags the same size as an airline carry-on.
• Most hostel/hotels in Airlie beach have bag storage facilities for bigger bags.
• There is NO bag storage at the marina and you face missing your departure if you bring bags that are not allowed.

Yes, absolutely! Avatar is a fully BYO vessel. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol, soft drinks, or juices for the trip. However, commercial marine safety laws strictly ban glass bottles and red wine on board. Please stick to cans of beer, cider, pre-mixes, or boxed wine (goon) and pack them into the onboard coolers.
